NBC News reported Monday morning that Vice President Joe Biden will make a decision regarding a potential 2016 White House bid within the next 48 hours (via The Blaze):
As Clinton has struggled with her continuing email scandal, many Democrats have viewed Biden as the only viable alternative for a Democrat to remain in the White House. Speculation of a Biden candidacy intensified after reports that his late son Beau Biden implored his father to run for president before he died. Biden has done little to dissuade the speculation over the last few months, while still emphasizing that his grieving family is his top priority.
Biden is scheduled to speak at a White House climate summit as well as at a veterans event at the Naval Observatory Monday, but has no political events planned.
