Hillary Clinton would be remiss to run again in 2020, and her party agrees. According to a USA Today/Suffolk University poll, a majority of Democrats and independent voters don’t want Clinton in the next presidential election:
Sixty-two percent of Democrats and independents surveyed said the twice-failed presidential candidate shouldn’t mount another campaign in 2020, and only 23 percent would be excited by her campaign if she did.
As for who they do want to run, 44 percent of survey responders said Sen. Bernie Sanders, while 43 percent named outgoing Vice President Joe Biden.
However, 66 percent said they would like to see “someone entirely new” run in 2020. Hopefully Hillary gets the hint.
