Trump immigration Order an extension of Obama policy

According to the mainstream media, President Trump has signed an executive order banning “nationals of seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States for at least the next 90 days.” Those seven countries include: Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.

Understandably, the order has outraged a lot of people. Even worse, Trump signed it on Holocaust Memorial Day.

However, what the media is reporting isn’t quite true. While the order does suspend the “Issuance of Visas and Other Immigration Benefits to Nationals of Countries of Particular Concern,” the seven “Muslim-majority” countries in question were not singled out by Trump. They were singled out by Obama.

Seth J. Frantzman explains:

The Department of Homeland Security targeted these seven countries over the last years as countries of concern. In February 2016 “The Department of Homeland Security today announced that it is continuing its implementation of the Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015 with the addition of Libya, Somalia, and Yemen as three countries of concern, limiting Visa Waiver Program travel for certain individuals who have traveled to these countries.” It noted “the three additional countries designated today join Iran, Iraq, Sudan and Syria as countries subject to restrictions for Visa Waiver Program travel for certain individuals.” It was the US policy under Obama to restrict and target people “who have been present in Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, at any time on or after March 1, 2011 (with limited government/military exceptions).” This was text of the US Customs and Border Protection in 2015 relating to “the Visa Waiver Program and Terrorist Travel Protection Act of 2015“. The link even includes the seven nation list in it: “Iraq, Syria, Iran, SUdan, Somalia or Yemen.”  And the media knew this back in May 2016 when some civil rights groups complained about it. “These restrictions have provoked an outcry from the Iranian-American community, as well as Arab-American and civil-liberties groups, who say the restrictions on dual nationals and certain travelers are discriminatory and could be imposed against American dual nationals.”

It was signed into law on December 18, 2015, as part of the Omnibus Appropriations Act of FY2016.

In other words, there was a kind of “Muslim ban” before Trump. But the media didn’t critique it because it was Obama’s administration that implemented it.

As Frantzman writes, Trump’s order “only increases an existing discriminatory policy, it doesn’t invent it. Reading media reports you would never know that.”

If you want to know the truth about Trump’s policies, you’ll have to search for it yourself. Because the media isn’t reporting it.

Islam, by law, is prohibited from US immigration
The Immigration and Nationality Act passed June 27, 1952 revised the laws relating to immigration, naturalization, and nationality for the United States.

That act, which became Public Law 414, established both the law and the intent of Congress regarding the immigration of Aliens to the US and remains in effect today. Among the many issues it covers, one in particular, found in Chapter 2 Section 212, is the prohibition of entry to the US if the Alien belongs to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by “force, violence, or other unconstitutional means.”

This, by its very definition, rules out Islamic immigration to the United States, but this law is being ignored by the White House. Islamic immigration to the US would be prohibited under this law because the Koran, Sharia Law and the Hadith all require complete submission to Islam, which is antithetical to the US government, the Constitution, and to the Republic.

All Muslims who attest that the Koran is their life’s guiding principal subscribe to submission to Islam and its form of government.
Now the political correct crowd would say that Islamists cannot be prohibited from entering the US because Islam is a religion.
Whether it is a religion is immaterial because the law states that Aliens who are affiliated with any “organization” that advocates the overthrow of our government are prohibited.

I do not know if is your lack or education or you are just trying to be ignorant. N law can over ride the Constitution of the USA, he Constitution says no one sall be denied entry to the USA because of there religious beliefs. it also says no amendment can change this.
The next thing is Muslims have been here since before this way even a country, the first mosque was built in what is Kent Island on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in 1734. You are judging all Muslims by the action of a radical few, most Muslims are no more into religion than Americans are, which according to the last poll was 24% of Americans consider them selves religious.
I did not see the US banning Germans before WWII and they were a direct threat.
You should look at the whole picture and not just the part you like.

I assure that i do not have a lack of education and ignorance seemingly belongs to you, sir.
The post i placed and the language therein is an exert from our actual constitutional laws. I did not write them, only passed them on.
I suggest you put what little education you have to good use, You can read yes?
This law is not about religion as is clearly stated in my post, rather its about organizations that advocate the overthrow of our government and/or beliefs thereof.
I have nothing against anyone to include Muslims, i am however am a constitutionalist and seeking to protect my country from the tyranny that the primary understanding of the Koran teaches.
What Mr.Trump has done was simply to put a hold on immigration from 7 countries that your great black father felt the need to place on a terrorist watch list.
I dont understand why you liberals have such a hard time complying with or such a disdain for the laws as written in the country in which you pledge allegiance to.

In that ISIS is a faction of the Muslim religion, i wonder if you are suggesting that we invite them to enter our country with impunity. Perhaps you will welcome them into your home.

Further during the WWII conflict with Japan, internment camps were erected to house thousands of American Japanese citizens under this very same congressional act,

There was a temporary ban during WW!! against German entry as well.

Odumbass placed a 6 month ban of entry from Iran in his first term

So stop with the mindless rhetoric. We do have a right to stop any and all immigration for a number of reasons and causes

Over 350,000 people came into America on Saturday from all over the world. 109 were detained. of them 102 were released in less than five hours, the remaining shortly there after. so what ever your gripe, it seems that you expect that we open our borders and in fact give them an express lane upon entry. Learn a little bit of patients as did every immigrant that ever came to this great land, legally did so.

The one part of Trumps EO that makes it a Constitutional violation is the part where he says Christians will not be effected by the law. That means he is showing religious preference against the Constitution which says he can not do that.
The majority of Muslims are no different than Americans as my job in the Intelligence community I live in the Middle East for about 7 years, all religions lived peacefully in the same villages and communities in those countries that Trump just banned entry. It is only the radical Muslims who even kill their own people who do not comply. I can guarantee you Trump’s anti Muslim will never keep the Radical out that want to be here any more than any regulation keep our intelligence or any other intelligence people out of a country.
The notion that all Muslims are radical is the most assinine thing anyone could print.
Look in this country how many support the radical Christian theology, a very small percentage, according to any poll you want to access.
Do you realize that in fact according to customs most of those 350,000 were Americans returning from business or vacations nothing to do with anything just figures thrown out by .the administration to confuse you. Most of the Muslims returning even the ones let in because they were American citizens spent long periods in questioning, and I am talking about the ones that are second generation or even look Middle Eastern, A business Associate coming in from England who is English born there and educated there spent almost two hours in questioning because he does look Middle Eastern.
We have always been a country open to those in need and not since 1850 when they wanted to deny the Irish because they were Catholic has there been this much BS about any religious sect and it is against our Constitution.
          No religious test for immigration.
You speak of the internment camps and they have since been ruled unconstitutional, and money damages were awarded to those or their families. What trump is doing is the same as putting a person in jail when no crime has been committed. All those held were previously cleared to enter the USA, through proper vetting.

          HAVE A GOOD DAY

POTUS Trump is simply trying to protect American citizens.
That you or anyone else would have a problem with that tells me that you either simply hate America or trump.
According to the latest Rassmusen poles over 60 % of Americans support this action, I being one of them.
One of those detained said that he appreciated Trumps inititive to protect his well being.
Detained for a few hours to investigate the legality of ones entry is a small price to pay for our security.
Consider this, they are now at their homes enjoying the privileges of American and you are still whining about this small inconvenience.

I will explain it to you like i explained it to someone else.
If you have teen age daughter would you rather she bring him in the front door so you know he is there and what they are doing or let her sneak m in the bed room window and you know nothing about him even being there or what they are doing.
If terrorist want in this country stopping them at the front door will not even slow them down, it is so easy no matter how secure border is to find someone who needs money or someone you can black mail to get in intelligence does it all the time in other countries. If you let someone in your front door you have at least some means of knowing what the look like what they are doing and whee they are which you do not have if they come in the back door or through a window.
Trump think our National security is a TV show, so he can get a rating, he should let the intelligence community do their job they are the experts not Trump, the glory hunter.
            HAVE A GOOD DAY

You’re not saying that the MSM is fibbing again, are you? What a shock!

No one has a “right” to enter America, unless we want them to be allowed to enter. I, personally, do not want anyone in this country who “might” be a threat to our great country. Way to go President Trump!
