Angry voters rejected them on Nov. 8, so now top Democrats are plotting to impeach Donald Trump out of spite.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Trump has misled the public to a degree that “there are plenty of grounds right now for the current president” to be impeached. But the public is not fully on board yet, Pelosi said, because “many of the president’s supporters are not ready to accept the fact that their judgement may not have been so great in voting for him.”
Pelosi said by the time the case is made for impeachment, “perhaps they will be ready to accept that.”
Surprise, surprise; Democrats still believe We the People are a bunch of mindless idiots who can’t make decisions for ourselves.
Pelosi also said that she “never recovered with the left on this subject for not impeaching President Bush.”
Democrats want to appoint an independent commission to investigate Trump’s alleged connections with the Russian government despite that the FBI found nothing. They just can’t leave well enough alone.
