Donald Trump, The White House

Is Ann Coulter off the Trump Train?

Conservative firebrand Ann Coulter was one of Donald Trump’s most voracious supporters during his presidential campaign.

However, now that Trump has failed to deliver on some of his biggest campaign promises — namely, the border wall — Coulter told The Daily Caller that she’s not very happy:

So there’s no wall, and Obama’s amnesties look like they are here to stay. Do you still trust Trump?

Uhhhh. I’m not very happy with what has happened so far. I guess we have to try to push him to keep his promises. But this isn’t North Korea, and if he doesn’t keep his promises I’m out. This is why we voted for him. I think everyone who voted for him knew his personality was grotesque, it was the issues.

I hate to say it, but I agree with every line in my friend Frank Bruni’s op-ed in The New York Times today. Where is the great negotiation? Where is the bull in the china shop we wanted? That budget the Republicans pushed through was like a practical joke… Did we win anything? And this is the great negotiator?

Nevertheless, Coulter is unapologetic about her past support for Trump. She’s also willing to give him the benefit of the doubt — so long as he rights his course, and soon. And that, she says, should be the goal of the American people:

You can’t give up yet. We have to keep Trump’s feet to the fire. It’s weird because I really think in his heart he’s a genuine patriot.

to start all this talk like Coulter thst he haant done this or that is rediculous at this point. the man has not even been in office 6 months. rather than sound off negative about trump how about sounding off about amd to republicans in congress who are not speaking out in his favor.

Since I always get the DemCommyLib…#$% response anyway, I am going to say what a great comment by “cccarr”. What clarity! I do love dedication to the orange one.

Geez, Ann…The man has been President for almost 4 whole months and you’re not happy. Building that wall is not quite the same as putting a fence up in your yard. He’s working on more things than you can imagine and done a darn good job to date, imo. Why not be unhappy with the ‘republicans’ in congress – they are not helping.
