Fake Russian dossier on Trump traced back to Democrat firm

A fake Russian intelligence dossier that made sensationalized claims about Donald Trump has been traced back to a Democrat Party political firm.

The mainstream media reported on the documents outrageous claims, until it was so debunked they were shamed into dropping the story.

The document was created at the request of “Fusion GPS,” a Democrat company which says it serves “corporate and political clients who want to commission private investigative journalism.”

The dossier’s claims, including one outlandish story of Trump supposedly receiving the services of multiple Russian prostitutes, so impressed Sen. John McCain he passed it to the FBI suggesting an investigation.

Now Fusion GOS is stonewalling a United States Senate subpoena for information on how the fake document was created and shopped around DC in the hopes of sabotaging the Trump campaign.

“In September 2016, while Fusion GPS was quietly shopping the dirty dossier on Trump around Washington, its co-founder and partner Peter R. Fritsch contributed at least $1,000 to the Hillary Victory Fund and the Hillary For America campaign, Federal Election Commission data show. His wife also donated money to Hillary’s campaign,” The New York Post reports.

“The Senate Judiciary Committee earlier this month threatened to subpoena the firm, Fusion GPS, after it refused to answer questions and provide records to the panel identifying who financed the error-ridden dossier, which was circulated during the election and has sparked much of the Russia scandal now engulfing the White House,” the Post reports.

The fake document is the foundation of the FBI investigation into the Trump campaign and Russia, despite being completely fabricated.
“The Senate Judiciary Committee is also investigating whether the FBI has wrongly relied on the anti-Trump dossier and its author, Christopher Steele — the old spy who was hired by Fusion GPS to build a Russia file on Trump — to aid its ongoing espionage investigation into the Trump campaign and its possible ties to Moscow,” the Post reports. “The FBI received a copy of the Democrat-funded dossier in August, during the heat of the campaign, and is said to have contracted in October to pay Steele $50,000 to help corroborate the dirt on Trump — a relationship that ‘raises substantial questions about the independence’ of the bureau in investigating Trump, warned Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).”

Do we need any more evidence that the Democrat laden FBI has been completely politicized? The FBI is no different than all government agencies — loaded with die hard DC Democrats. Therefore, the swamp draining task is an order of magnitude more difficult than expected.
