All 10-month-old Charlie Gard wants to do is live.

That’s not allowed under his country’s single-payer health care system.

The baby is expected to die Friday.

That’s because a European court, acting on orders from the U.K.’s single-payer health care system, banned his parents from taking him to the United States for potentially life saving care.

Charlie suffers from a rare genetic disorder. There is treatment available in the United States that could save his life.

But the so-called “European Court of Human Rights,” acting on orders from Britain’s single-payer health care system, banned his parents from taking him to the U.S. to possibly let him live. They have ordered that he die tomorrow.

Charlie may be dead by the time you read this. His parents are heartbroken.

Writing on Facebook, they say “We are utterly heartbroken spending our last precious hours with our baby boy. We’re not allowed to choose if our son lives and we’re not allowed to choose when or where Charlie dies. We and most importantly Charlie have been massively let down throughout this whole process. Charlie will die tomorrow knowing that he was loved by thousands… thank you to everyone for all your support!”

The Daily Mail reports:

The parents of terminally-ill baby Charlie Gard are ‘utterly distraught’ and facing fresh heartbreak after losing their final appeal in the European Court of Human Rights.

Chris Gard, 32, and Connie Yates, 31, wanted to take their 10-month-old son – who suffers from a rare genetic condition and has brain damage – to the US to undergo a therapy trial…

…the couple, from Bedfont, west London, raised almost £1.4million so they could take their son to America but a series of courts ruled in favour of the British doctors…

…on Tuesday afternoon, the ECHR rejected a last-ditch plea and their ‘final’ decision means the baby’s life support machine will be switched off.
The ECHR announced the application to the court by the parents was ‘inadmissible’ and added that their decision was ‘final’.

Mr Gard and Miss Yates have yet to comment on today’s decision, however their Twitter account ‘Charlie’s fight’, retweeted a number of messages.
One said: ‘The #CharlieGard case is terrible. Shame on the UK judges allowing him to die, shameful, terrible decision.’

Another message the account retweeted read: ‘Very evil people….. Sentencing a child to death! What an anti-child pagan society we are. I pray for #CharlieGard!’

When government controls health care, they decide who lives and who dies — even babies.

And that’s the brutal inhumanity of socialized health care, coming soon to America.
